Penmarc'h and its Eckmühl lighthouse, an exceptional site, a mecca of wild and authentic Brittany, close to the Keralouet campsite, in South Finistère.
In search of old stones and buildings of yesteryear, come and discover the little treasures of Penmarc'h, with its many colours emanating from the sea, the marshes and the granite. A magical place located in the west of the Bigouden country, with its coast, its creeks where the wind whips the sea on the rock, you can enjoy the landscape on the walking paths, the beaches and the nearby environment which is worth the diversions!
In Penmarc'h, you will discover its mythical 307-step lighthouse, the Eckmühl lighthouse, in the Saint-Pierre district, one of the 61 lighthouses in Brittany still in operation. You can embark on an exceptional ascent of the tower, the 290 steps will take you to the top for a beautiful view of the whole bay of Audierne. The visit is subject to weather and physical conditions, our friends the animals are not allowed inside the lighthouse. Night visits are organised in July and August.
